In November 2024, Portland voters will elect 12 new city council members in 4 new districts. Marnie is running in District 2, which covers North and much of Northeast Portland. 

 

Currently, there are 15 candidates running. When you receive your ballot, you'll be able to rank up to 6 candidates.  

 

Marnie should be your #1!

Each district will elect 3 city council members in a new proportional ranked choice voting system. In other words, there will be three city council members representing each voter. The intent of this change is to make your city council members more accountable to you, the voters.
