marnie + carmen outreach event - 9/14

We think it's important to put this campaign into context: it's not just about Marnie, it's not just about District 2. This election marks the start of a new form of local governance offering Portland the chance to elect Portlanders who come from their district, who live amongst their neighbors, and who are embedded within the issues that we need to be represented in city council legislation. This means it's important to stay focused on the big picture: we need not just a full slate of progressive legislators on city council but a mayor who is going to embrace the implementation of their vision fully. And that champion is Carmen Rubio. I'm honored to have Carmen's endorsement and I'm excited about our shared, upcoming campaign event where folks can do outreach on behalf of BOTH of our campaigns.
