Website Accessibility

I'm looking forward to the February 1st workshop on website accessibility hosted by Marin County Office of Education.

Here is information about the event:

The focus of the Americans for Disability Act (ADA) is turning towards website accessibility in the digital age: Is your district website compliant?

As a public education institution K12 websites are required to be accessible to persons with disabilities. This meeting will provide an overview of information and issues to be addressed to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) laws and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0).

Please join us for an overview of Website Accessibility, Legal Requirements and Best Practices to insure district compliance.

Who should attend? Superintendents, Board Members, Special Education Directors, Technology Directors, Chief Business Officials, Principals
